Grades, Confidence Labels and Meaning
An opinion label needs a published interpretation, not an invented probability.
Declared meaning
Ask what a grade changes in the instruction and when it is assigned. Retain the original label and later amendments rather than using the final profitable result to infer confidence.
No probability shortcut
A letter grade or conviction tag does not establish a calibrated win probability. Such a claim requires its own complete population, method and validation evidence.
Buyer interpretation
State whether the label changes observation priority, permitted action or merely commentary. Missing semantics remain unknown, not an excuse to invent sizing guidance.
Record the Claim Boundary
Name the precise artifact and separate documented, attributed, hypothetical and unresolved evidence. These criteria do not assign a star score or certify a provider.
