Delivery Test Methodology

A repeatable protocol needs real run artifacts before a measured claim is made.

12 October 2026 / public documents and labelled test designs

Frozen setup

Declare plan, route, endpoint, environment and expected sample before observing outcomes. Document changes instead of merging them into a convenient sample.

Failure coverage

Keep nonreceipt, retries, malformed objects and unknown intervals. Synthetic fixtures test a design only when an actual run records behaviour.

Bounded reporting

Publish compatible event definitions and raw safe artifacts. A route test is neither a strategy test nor a universal reliability certificate.

Record the Claim Boundary

Name the precise artifact and separate documented, attributed, hypothetical and unresolved evidence. These criteria do not assign a star score or certify a provider.

Free evidence record

Source Boundaries

Official references describe published mechanisms. BTA's evidence packets and proposed test procedures do not claim a completed paid-feed or account trial.
