Record Provenance and Completeness
Check the original population and methodology before repeating a performance claim.
Population before percentage
Keep original IDs, versions, cancellations and the declared inclusion rules. A selected winner set has no defensible success denominator. Request the full history and identify unavailable intervals.
Return boundary
Separate research reference fills, raw summed percentages and actual account returns. Costs, allocation and overlapping positions need their own method. A source-account record is not a follower-account audit.
Verification scope
An audit claim needs original scope, dates and verifier. State whether BTA inspected that document or merely attributes a supplied statement. Credentials cannot replace the missing record.
Record the Claim Boundary
Name the precise artifact and separate documented, attributed, hypothetical and unresolved evidence. These criteria do not assign a star score or certify a provider.
Source Boundaries
Official references describe published mechanisms. BTA's evidence packets and proposed test procedures do not claim a completed paid-feed or account trial.
