Fact-checking
Every performance figure we attach to a service has to lead back to a record a reader can pull up — a published audit, an externally run competition result, or an on-chain receipt. Claims we cannot source, we do not print, however good they would look on the page. The full test framework is set out on the method page, and the source hierarchy we trust is ranked on where the numbers come from.
Funding and independence
This guide collects no referral cut from the services it ranks and sells no ranking slot. That independence is the entire product; a buyer's guide bankrolled by the very services it grades would be worthless to a reader. Where we link to a service, the link is editorial, not paid, and no service can buy a better line or a softer write-up.
How we reference the recommended service
